The Adaptation at Scale Prize offers financial rewards for innovative solutions to scale-up climate change adaptation in Nepal.
THE ADAPTATION AT SCALE PRIZE IS DESIGNED IN TWO STAGES;
STAGE 2 - Karyanwayein Prize
The Karyanwayein Prize will be awarded to applicants who have successfully implemented their plan to scale-up. They must be able to prove that they have achieved positive outcomes for poor and vulnerable communities in strengthening their ability to adapt beyond existing plans.
The Prize was launched in December 2016. It will be awarded in April 2019.
Winners will receive a share of a GBP 325,000 prize purse.

STAGE 1 - Protsahan Prize (CLOSED)
The Protsahan Prize will recognise successful initiatives that have supported adaptation to climate change among the poorest and most vulnerable groups in Nepal, and reward innovative plans to expand them (scale-up). Applicants will need to present a plan showing how they can expand the reach of their initiative by using new and innovative ways of working. These ideas should be new, and not part of an already funded activity. Submissions will be judged by an independent panel.
The prize was launched on the 5th of May 2016. It was awarded in December 2016.
The winners received a share of a GBP 150,000 prize purse.
